Bernadine C. Onderisin, age 87 of Morris, IL. passed away on Friday, February 19, 2021 at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox.
She was born May 17, 1933 in Joliet, IL. to Constant A. and Catherine (nee Stefanski) Baldigo, graduated from Joliet Central High School in 1951 and married William J. Onderisin on February 16, 1952 at St. Bernard's Catholic Church. Bernadine was a loving, caring and supportive mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed spending her time with her large family and numerous friends. She was very creative and shared her talents through crafting, arranging flowers and canning her own food and in the summer truly enjoyed time in the sun, swimming and floating.
She is survived by her children, Pam (Joe) Turk of Goose Lake, Paul (Mary) Onderisin of Joliet, Jim (Terri) Onderisin of San Diego, CA., Ken (Sue) Onderisin of Channahon, Joe Onderisin of Wilmington, Al Onderisin of Morris, Laura (the late Peter) Kaluzny of Goose Lake, and Sara (Steven) Sulfridge of Grayslake ; her grandchildren, Gary (Lori) Turk, Brian (Erin) Turk, Jill (Brian) Fatlan, Michael Onderisin, Erin (Jason) Whiteside, Colin (Brittany) Eales, Bret (Melissa) Onderisin, Grant (Nicole) Onderisin, Chris (Derek) Onderisin, DJ Onderisin, Jennifer Onderisin, Matt (Jamie) Onderisin, Amanda (Stephan) Singer, Kevin (Linda) Onderisin, Kristina Onderisin, Josh (Lauren) Kaluzny, Barbara Kaluzny and Tom Sulfridge; and her great-grandchildren, Haley, Hanna, Dylan, Devon, Autumn, Grady, Isabella, Eliana, Brendan, Cameron , Avery, Leah, Blake, Reece, Sophia, Lucas, Evelyn, Ian, Elise and Alaina; and sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William; her parents, Constant and Catherine Baldigo; her brother Ray Baldigo and her sister Evelyn Walczak; and sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID, visitation, funeral and burial services will be private. Bernadine will be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery in Romeoville.
