Anthony (Tony) John Jurzak 40, of Morris, IL and formerly of Coal City, IL passed away suddenly on Saturday, December 18, 2010 at The Morris Hospital. He was born on March 31, 1970 in LaSalle, IL.


Tony was known as the handy man around town and was always willing to give a helping hand.


He is survived by his girlfriend (mother of their children) Janet of Morris, daughter Salena and son Joseph Jurzak. Mother Elaine (Richard) Jurzak-Flynn of Joliet, brother Rich (Heather) Jurzak, sisters Susan (Jeff) Enger, Nancee (Bryan) Kinzer, Caryn (Richard) Schliessmann, Tammy (Erik) Johnson, Lori Nelson, Sharon Pelka, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father Richard John Jurzak Sr., Grandmother Jenny Balbinot and Grandfather Anton Balbinot.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday December 30, 2010 at The Christian Life Assembly of God Church, 2960 East Division Street Diamond, IL (crossroads of I-55 and Rt. 113). Pastor Mark R. Thompson will officiate with interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Wilmington, IL. Visitation will also be held on Thursday at the church from 9:00 AM until the time of service.
